Preparing your home for photos and viewings
Buyers decide from photographs first. Clear surfaces, open curtains and good daylight make rooms look larger and brighter.
Remove personal photographs and clutter so buyers can picture their own things in the space. Fix dripping taps, loose handles and chipped paint.
For viewings, be out of the house if you can, switch the lights on, air the rooms and keep pets away. Make the garden and entrance welcoming.
